Get ready to make some serious noise! Donley Auctions is excited to present a piece of music history in our Rocktober Auction on Saturday, October 20: a 1974 Mini Moog Model D Synthesizer with controller!

This classic analog synth is in good working condition and ready to unleash its iconic sound. From fat basses to soaring leads, the Model D is a legendary instrument that has shaped countless genres and inspired generations of musicians.

Here's what you need to know about this sonic beast:

  • Excellent Condition: All three oscillators, filters, and waveforms are functioning, as are the keys, pitch, and modulation wheels. The wood cabinet is also in nice shape.

  • Rare Sample and Hold Module: This Model D includes a rare Moog model 1125 sample and hold module (sold untested), adding even more sonic possibilities to this already versatile instrument.

  • From a Musical Legacy: This Mini Moog comes from the estate of Paul and Barbara Wertico. Paul Wertico is a renowned drummer known for his work with the Pat Metheny Group. Own a piece of music history!

  • Minor TLC Needed: This vintage synth will need a minor cleaning of the pots, switches, and jacks, and the pilot light needs replacement. A small investment for a lifetime of sonic exploration!
